4 Pops on the River with The Arkansas Symphony Orchestra: The event is open to the public.
Amphitheatre seating is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Beer and soft drinks will be sold, and food vendors will be available. Bring your blankets and chairs.

4 Rockets from the Roof Cookout: Bring the family and enjoy the best view of the fireworks in Little Rock on the Peabody’s Rivertop deck to celebrate Independence Day. The cookout begins at 7 p.m. and lasts until the fireworks are completed. Tickets purchased in advance are $45 for adults and $25 for children 6-11. Children 5 and under are free. Ticket price includes: valet parking, buffet-style dining complete with desserts, access to a cash bar, face painting and balloon animals for kids, live radio feed from the Pops on the River event, private outdoor space for fireworks viewing, all service charges, fees and sales tax. 11, 18, 25 Movies In the Park: Movies In the Park at Little Rock’s Riverfront Amphitheatre screens a different movie every Wednesday through August 1st. Lawn chairs and pets are welcome. This year’s movie line-up includes: June 13: Steel Magnolias; June 20: Puss N Boots; June 27: Moneyball; July 11: Jaws; July 18: Twilight Eclipse; July 25: Caddyshack; August 1: Annie. 12 Wine Class with Jonathan Looney: Attendees will learn how to identify their personal taste in wine by analyzing the complex layers of flavors. Regions of the world will be noted for their particular highlights. All skill levels are welcome to attend, and questions are encouraged. 6 p.m. $50. 20 35th Annual Community Service Awards: This year’s Distinguished Citizen is Arkansas Business Publishing Group C.E.O. Olivia Myers Farrell, who will be honored for co-founding the Women’s Foundation of Arkansas. Golden Circle reception from 6 – 7:30 p.m. at Brewer-Hegeman Conference Center.
